Special Sunday Dinner Message

Hi everyone, I have a few things to let you know about before I dig in. My delay this time was, hopefully something that will benefit us all. Yesterday I joined Substack. There is a feature on Substack to create a chat. I've been wanting to have a way to have dialogue, instead of just making comments on blog posts. The Substack name is also nite reflections. Search nitereflections in the search bar or hopefully this link works. The posts will be on here. I have been sharing them to facebook, but now I'll be sharing to Substack then the Substack link to facebook.

In the last post I mentioned a pastor named Francis Chan who left his mega church a number of years ago  because he recognized his pride and arrogance was was putting his accomplishments and success on himself and not on God. One sermon he had years ago was a rope sermon. He had a white rope as long as the stage, with red tape wrapped around it a few inches long in the center. The message was, our lives are the red tape. We tend to live for what we can accomplish in that red tape area. We save all our lives for a little section of the red tape at the end. We tend to be so focused on our lives while we're alive we miss living for the eternity past the red tape. Sometimes our past before the red tape creeps in and causes us to lose focus on the red tape now and also distracts us from eternity. And if you are a person that holds to the belief of reincarnation, our past lives are also part of our souls journey even up to our red tape today. What are we doing now to ensure our eternity past the red tape? We talked a little bit about repentance recently. Let's look at that and some new stuff about salvation. As we saw repentance means turning from our self centered nature and feeling sincere regret and remorse the the things we've done and turning our focus to living our lives focused on God.

In a message on the messengerx app they mentioned Act 10. Acts 10 talks about Cornelius is a Centurion and a devoted God fearing man as well as his household. He prays every day and lives his life devoted to living a godly life. One day an angel appeared to Cornelius and told him God has heard his prayers and noticed his acts of charity. He is to send men to Joppa and bring Peter back to his house. While the men were on their way Peter had a vision that Cornelius was coming, so when the men got there Peter knew to leave with them. When Peter got to Cornelius's house and they were talking, Cornelius told Peter about his vision. Peter told Cornelius vs 34 "I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people, vs 35 but in every nation the person who fears Him and does what is right, is welcome before Him." Peter reminded Cornelius of all the things that Jesus had done because he was anointed with the Holy Spirit. Peter did say that the prophets said that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name. While Peter was speaking the Holy Spirit fell on those who heard the message. Everyone was amazed that Gentiles and Non-Gentiles alike received the Holy Spirit. So he instructed them all to be baptized.

In the past I've heard it explained that "Believing in Jesus" means to believe in His teaching. Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. To me that also means to live our lives according to the Beatitudes." So many current Evangelical Christian churches want you to think that if you walk to the front of the church, tell the preacher that you Believe in Jesus, get baptized, then you'll avoid hell.

I'd rather focus on the teachings of Jesus and not Paul but in this case Paul tells the Romans in Romans 12 to present your bodies a living sacrifice holy acceptable to God. Do not conform to the world but Be Transformed by the renewing of your mind. It's not enough to believe. Remember, the devil believes. He tempted Jesus in the desert and the demons didn't want to be casted out of the possessed man and into the pigs. It isn't really enough to believe we need to move away from our godless ways and transform into a life holy acceptable to God.

Like repentance we need to be transformed and work towards that transformation. Work by reading your Bible. Naturally I prefer the Ethiopian Bible. Right now while writing this I've been using an online Ethiopian Bible. It isn't a download. I have it bookmarked on a tablet. I like it because you can select a book in the table of contents and it goes there. If you search "online Ethiopian Bible" this should come up

Same Thing Only Different---Back To Better

Hi Everyone, just a quick post (maybe) to include you in my recent thoughts lately before i post another Book Of Jubilees tomorrow. This has been in my head since the weekend and I needed to get it out of there, and didn't want to include it in a post about the Ethiopian Bible, since it's more personal. I don't journal but if I did this would be in there. So, you guys have a front row seat to watching the waves rolling and crashing around in my brain.

I looked back and saw that last October was when I revived Nite Reflections. I didn't read it all but I'm pretty sure I mentioned the journey I took and Andrea and I took. From checking out the Baha'i faith, to Taoism, Hinduism, looking into Islam although not to practice but wanting to have some knowledge to be able to know the pros and cons. Most recently Paramahansa Yogananda. Yes, Yoganada connects Jesus in his teachings and gives a connection to The Bhagavad Gita. He mentions meditation and you can buy a course on Kriya Yoga. You start out with Raja Yoga and through daily discipline you can possibly get to, but more than likely not, get to a state that's like the mystics. I'm not saying that to be critical. In one of their videos they say to reach the Kriya Yoga level it takes a lifetime that most people don't accomplish.

In my last post I mentioned a guy named John Bevere. He/His Organization has an app called MessengerX. It's on the Apple App store and Google play store. On the google play store there's actually an item in the search items that says messengerx John Bevere. The app has a short daily video to listen to, and they also have A LOT of other content that I'm pretty sure you can find something to interest you. Last Saturday night I was listing to a daily video called Spiritual Seasons, by a guy named Will Hart. He read 1John 2:12-14. It says

12) I am writing to you little children that your sins have been forgiven because of his name. 13)  I am writing to you fathers that you have known Him from the beginning. I am writing to you young people that you have conquered the evil one. 14) I have written to you children that you have known the father. I have written to you fathers that you have known Him who has been from the beginning. I have written to you young people that you are strong and the word of God resides in you and you have overcome the evil one.

In another video today in a series called Near To God John talked about his relationship with his wife and when they're with a group of people she can give him a look and he will know what she's communicating to him. When they were first married he wouldn't have known what she was trying to say, but over the years they've learned to know what each other means by the things they do. In the passage in 1 John, and other videos I've watch this past week I've learned that all these other paths I've gone down and the other faiths I wanted to check into because I was so frustrated with "Christianity" has actually brought to a teaching that, from what I've seen so far, has put me on a path that I was already on but with the teachings of Jesus, not an alternative spin to the teachings of Jesus.

Getting back to the 1 John passage, I remember in Sunday School and Wednesday night classes growing up, I used to absolutely HATE memorizing Bible verses and have to do stuff like that to get some type of prize, gold star or some type of performance based rewards. Looking back, it was a good thing because the Bible says we should hide God's word in our heart. So, as a child I learned, because of that, as a young man I was strong in my faith and now as a father and grandfather I can share these things because I have known Him from the beginning.

In John's video about his relationship with his wife, it took years for them to learn how to silently communicate with each other. With us it isn't instantaneous that we know when God is trying to communicate with us, but in time we learn, and you don't need to buy an expensive course in Yoga to know. I remember a little over a year ago someone was talking to me about a situation because they were  upset. Later that night I was in bed reading before going to sleep, an idea came to mind that might help them. I tried and tried to read but the thought was too persistent. I texted the person. They said  "thank you for thinking about me." I said "I wasn't, I was trying to read but I couldn't get this thought out of my head." Recognizing when God is leading you to do something is a good way to start recognizing how He communicates with you. Spending time reading God's word. Reading what Jesus says. I think I mentioned recently, Read a Psalm a day, read Proverbs to understand the wisdom of God.  I've heard it said a lot that if you want to know about the love of Jesus read the Gospel of John

I still don't know what I'd say if I was asked if I was a Christian. I'd probably start out by saying, "Not like you're thinking." I'd probably have to say, I follow the teachings of Jesus. I think Christianity these days puts a bad taste in people's mouths. If it takes a lifetime to recognize how God is going to communicate with you, why not Be Still and Know That I AM God. Go straight to the source. God will communicate with you different than He will with me. We are all unique and will understand differently in our own way.

Another video I listened to this past week was by John Bevere about the end times, the rapture and the second coming. To summarize that video, it's interesting to learn about, if that's something you're interested in, that's great! But, we can't get hung up on when, we just have to always be ready. Always be learning, always be meditating on God and His word so we can understand his method of communication. Pray without ceasing means, even though we go about our day and have to focus on our work, we always recognize when things happen that bring our thoughts back to God.

I got that passage from 1 John from the Ethiopian Bible. It read the same as the version they read on the video. That tells me the translations are the same or at least very similar. Right now this is my interest. To bring to you scripture that wasn't included in the Bible. We will always or at least try to bring it back to how God is working. If we're learning, we're watching, waiting. It won't matter when the end times occur. we're excited and ready.

We'll get back into the Book Of Jubilees tomorrow or Friday. I just wanted to post this by itself and not included it in a post with a different topic.

Thank you for experiencing the thoughts that I experience 😛😊

Keep searching,

Paul

The Google Gemini image shows how I feel my path has brought me to needing to learn these other things just to bring me around to the path of recognizing the love of Jesus in the things we do.

It Was Worse Than You Imagined

Hi Everyone. I hope everyone is having a great Sunday. Today I want to explain a little about the Jubilees, but just a little because I don't want to lose you. Starting when Cain was born.

In the 3rd week of the 2nd Jubilee Cain was born. Each jubilee being 49 years and a week being 7 days the 3nd week would be 64-70 A.M. 49+ 21(3,7 day weeks)=70 (Anno Mundi - Year of the world)

Able was born in the 4th week 71-77 A.M.

In the 5th week a daughter Awan 78-84 A.M. was born

In the 1st year of the 3rd Jubilee Cain killed Able. 49 years X 2= 98+ 1year it says year but only calculates a week. It says (99-105 A.M.) But if it's a year I think it could be 99-51. It doesn't give anything more specific than that.

Adam and Eve mourned Able 4 weeks of years 28 years (99-127A.M.)

In the the 4th year of the 5th week (130 A.M.) they became joyful again and Adam "knew his wife again" and they had Seth

In the 6th week (134-140 A.M.) Adam and Eve had a daughter Azura

  2)Seth and His wife had Enos in 235A.M, (4 Jubilees + 5 weeks+4 days)

I think that's as far as my brain can go. The rest will just be a lineage list up to Noah

  3) Enos who had Kenan, 4) who had Mahalalel, 5) who had Jared, 6) who had Enoch, 7) who had Methuselah, 8) who had Lamech, 9) who had Noah

Chapter 4 vs. 17-19 It talks about how Enoch was the first among men to learn writing and knowledge. He wrote down the orders of the months so men would know the seasons. He was the one that made known the Jubilees and the Sabbaths as the angels showed him. This is important because in Chapter 5 it gets into what it talks about in the Book Of Enoch. Genesis in the Protestant Bible mentions Enoch. The Book Of Enoch and The Book Of Jubilees corroborate each other. So in my head I don't understand how they could be excluded.

In vs 29 Adam died in 930 A.M. and his sons buried him in the land of his creation. He was the first one to be buried on earth.

In vs 31 Cain's house fell on him and was killed by stones. The same material he killed his brother with. It was then that "it was ordained on the heavenly tablets that "With the instrument with which a man kills his neighbor with the same shall he be killed." The same things goes with if we wound someone.

In the 25th Jubilee (1205 A.M.) Noah took a wife. They had 3 sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth. I wanted to bring this up so we can see how far it is from Adam and also how far we'll see it is from here to the flood.

Chapter 5: Here's where we see how Jubilees and the Book Of Enoch corroborate each other. During the Jubilee when Noah married and had his three sons, the angels of God noticed how beautiful the daughters were that had been created on earth and decided to take them as wives as many as they wanted and their sons became giants. Lawlessness increased and all flesh became corrupted. All men, cattle, beasts, birds and everything that walked on the earth. In the Book Of Enoch it says, the Giants appetite couldn't be satisfied. Once they ate what they could from plants and animals they started eating humans. This is when God decided to to destroy all of mankind, all flesh and all He had created. But the angels who had defiled the humas God became extremely angry. He commanded His angels to bind them in the depths of the earth and are kept separate. And against their sons (the giants) they should be smitten by the sword and removed from under heaven. This was when God said since we are flesh we will only live 120 years. It was then that God decided everyone great or small everywhere will face judgement according to his wickedness or righteousness. It was also written If the children of Israel turn to Him in righteousness He will forgive their transgressions and pardon their sins, and that He will show mercy to anyone who turns from their guilt once a year. So, evidently this is where we see an example early of us being to to repent.

Through all this corruption God saw that Noah and his family had not become corrupt and decided to save them from the upcoming destruction of the flood, so He commanded Noah to build an ark to be saved. Noah built the ark according to the instructions God gave him. God told him this in the 27th Jubilee, in the 5th week in the 5th year on the new moon of the first month (1307A.M.) {A little over 2 Jubilees. About 100 years} Noah, his family and the animals he took entered the ark in the 6th year (1308 A.M)

The rains started and continued for 40 days and forty nights, and the fountains of the deep sent up water until the whole world was filled with water. The water stayed on the earth for 5 months, 150 days. On the new moon of the 4th month the fountains of the deep were closed. On the new moon of the 7th month the mouths of the abysses were opened and the water began to descend into the deep below. On the new moon of the 10th month the tops of the mountains were seen, and on the new moon of the first month the earth became visible. NOTE: A ten month year. The waters disappeared from the earth the 5th week of the 7th year (1309 A.M.). On the 17th day of the 2nd month the earth was dry. then on the 27th day He opened the ark and everything inside could leave.

That brings us from Adam to the end of the flood a little over 26.7 jubilees.

Next it brings us to Noah's new rules God establishes. What to eat, not eat ect.

Once we got past figuring out what the Jubilees are and how to figure them, I found the timeframe of how it all unfolded interesting. I hope you did as well.

Til next time, Keep Searching,

Paul

What Are Jubilees and Why Was The Book Excluded

Hi Everyone, Happy Thursday from an 85 degree day in Central Florida. Unfortunately in South Dakota where my kids still are and where I used to live it's noon right now and it's 12 degrees. Yikes! If you're also where you're still having a cold winter, Stay warm you guys.

The other day I was asked why I'm so focused on the Ethiopian Bible. I knew that there were many other books in the Dead Sea Scrolls that didn't qualify to make it into the Protestant Bible when the official list was voted on during the Council Of Nicea during the time of Constantine. Then I thought why weren't they included? I don't want to drag this on and be boring but I also feel everyone should know. We'll get into more book content after this explanation. This information is regarding only The Book Of Jubilees  from questions directed to my friend Google Gemini, and not any of the other books. So here goes.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are a collection around 900 manuscripts found in caves near the Qumran settlement between 1947 and 1956. They contain every book in the Protestant Bible except Esther, plus many others that weren't allowed. If we go with number 900, and there are 66 books in the Protestant Bible that leaves 834 books that potentially had vital information that inquiring minds (old tv commercial reference) like you and I want to know, that were rejected. WHY?? I want to know what's in there. Some people are satisfied going to church 1-3 times a week, maybe having a daily or weekly bible study. That's okay. Personally I'm not, but then again I never have been satisfied with the status quo or being compliant for that matter.

When I read the guidelines for why books were excluded a couple of things were a little startling. Maybe it's something maybe it's nothing. But one document in the Historical& Textual category called Community Rule or War Scroll was specific to The Essene sect, granted this document was community specific not universal to everyone but it has become accepted by some that Jesus was part of the Essenes. I heard a guy this week named John Bevere say Mary was an Essene.

In the Jewish Rabbinic category some were excluded because they were written in the "post-prophetic" era or weren't written in Hebrew. Some were written in Aramaic. Also what Jesus spoke. The next category was Theological.  These were excluded because they were either apocalyptic or Conflicted with the Mainstream Lunar Calendars and Temple practices at the time. We'll see more about this. Other factors were Sectarian Identity, too community specific for the general Bible, like The War Scroll. Were they considered Divinely Inspired or just helpful to read? And Popularity. Were they popular in the scrolls but rare elsewhere? Jubilees were in the scrolls 15 times.

This is the main thing that bothers me. Exodus was written by Moses. The Book Of Jubilees written by Moses being spoken by angels. Throughout history we've seen a division among people over things they just couldn't agree on. In this case the rest of the world has missed out on and ridiculed for reading books other than the standard canonized books of the bible. Admittedly, the Bible the Catholic church uses has the Apocrypha. Here's how the different sides looked at their solar and lunar decisions. As we'll see in the Book Of Jubilees God gave requirements that the festivals were to be celebrated on the same days each year, and the solar calendar allows for that.

The Battle of the Calendars

To understand why this led to the book's exclusion, we have to look at the "Calendar War" happening in Judea at the time.

The Solar Calendar (Jubilees) ☀️The Lunar Calendar (Mainstream/Rabbinic) 🌙
364 days exactly.Roughly 354 days, requiring "leap months" to stay in sync with seasons.
Holidays always fall on the same day of the week every year.Holidays shift days (like your birthday or modern Hanukkah).
Claims the lunar system is "corrupt" and leads to sin.The standard used by the Temple authorities in Jerusalem.

The Jubilees proposes a year that has exactly 52 weeks. Every date falls on the same day of the week every year. The year is divided into 13-week seasons.  One Key Point, In this system the first day of the first month of the New Year always falls on a Wednesday, which I didn't notice it saying, but that's the day, sun, moon, and stars, were created and made the first day. I still don't know why the time frames are called Jubilees, but it really doesn't matter, I don't know why we call a week a week, or a year a year. So to continue on, another copy and paste from our friend Gemini

The "Units" of Time 🧱

The author breaks time down into specific mathematical blocks:

  • The Year: Exactly 364 days (52 weeks).

  • The Week of Years: A 7-year period (based on the Sabbath year cycle in Leviticus).

  • The Jubilee: A 49-year period (consisting of 7 "weeks of years").

The Total Calculation 🧮

If we multiply these units, we can see the grand scale of the book's chronology:

50 Jubilees X 49 years = 2,450 years

By using this rigid system, the author ensures that every major event—like the birth of Noah, the Flood, or the life of Abraham—falls on a mathematically "perfect" year and day. This was a direct challenge to other ancient calendars that relied on the moon, which the author felt were messy and prone to human error.

This calendar does however have 1.25 missing days over the course of a year. One early 1900's scholar R.H.Charles has what is regarded as a very accurate interpretation of Jubilees, has said he thinks the author of Jubilees was so blinded by "theological dogmatism" that they prioritized mathematical perfection over the actual movement of the sun, and possibly didn't account for the shortfall at all. Because to add a leap day or extra month somewhere would break the 7 day cycle and ruin the Sabbath nature of the calendar. Charles supposedly shows in his 1913 interpretation of Jubilees that the Flood lasted exactly 364 days and not 370 like in a Masoretic Text of Genesis which is considered to be an authoritative text of the Jewish Bible.

As we saw in the last post A.M. is used to signify a period of time in Jubilees called Anno Mundi. It's a system used to date events based on the number of years since the creation of the world. With that in mind, the world, and everything in it was created in the first week of the first Jubilee {1-7A.M.} The first week of the first 7 year period based on the Sabbath year cycle in Leviticus.

The first week of the of the first year of the the first 49 year Jubilee. Adam and Eve were in the garden a full 7 years exactly, the 17th day of the 2nd month the serpent came to Eve. {8A.M.)

Next time I was just going to give a lineage list of from Adam to Noah but well see how it goes breaking it down to include Jubilees. Until then,

Keep Searching,

Paul

Adam To Enoch To Angels On Earth

 Hi everyone, Happy Sunday.

Before getting into the Book Of Jubilees I thought I'd share something that came to mind while I was listening to a video about the Book Of Enoch from a YouTube channel called Original Hebrew. The video mentioned the word repent, and made me think about how John The Baptist and Jesus both used the word. Here's a link to the website and also a section of the website Jerusalem Of Gold website explaining the Hebrew Meaning of the word Repent. This was significant to me because, on one hand Jesus came as a sacrifice for the world so we wouldn't have to continue to have animal sacrifices like in the Old Testament, but I also think if a person who doesn't go to church, is struggling with whatever is distressing them in their life and turns to God and truly wants to be free with whatever is going on, I can hear the conversation, pleading with God promising to change with God's help.... As this website says, every day we turn from the things we do that displeases and turn back to God, God welcomes us with compassion. Do I think you have to say The Sinner's Prayer, asking Jesus to come into your heart, that churches recommend? No. If you are truly remorseful and continue on a path to genuinely seek God's guidance, God is a loving God and forgives.

The first public preaching word out of Yeshua's - the Messiah's - mouth in the New Testament is "Repent." (Matthew 4.17) This is also the same first public preaching word out of John the Baptist's mouth. (Matthew 3.2) So it is a very important word to the LORD and our relationship with Him.

In Greek "repent" has been written down as "metanoya."

But, in the Hebrew it would be the word: "Nacham". Nacham means: to change one's mind, be grieved, repent. Yeshua would have known His Hebrew and known with exquisite perfection that Hebrew words share roots.

Nacham (repent) shares the same root as:

Nocham:  which means 'compassion'

Nachum:  which means 'console'

Nachama: which means 'comfort'

So the Hebrew word for repent literally comes with God’s compassion, consolation and comfort built into it. That understanding really helps me to repent on a daily basis, because His Compassion and Comfort are waiting immediately the other side of that sometimes painful process.

The second  Hebrew word for repent is 'shoov'. It means: "to turn back, to be returned, carry back, brought again" and means a relationship is restored.

This is a life-pounding-run-across-a-desert-word, like our life depended on it. This is because one of the times it is used in the Hebrew Scriptures is when Moses the shepherd "turns", travels to the other side of the desert, sees the burning bush, encounters God and becomes a changed man with a profound and historic mission to save the Hebrew people from slavery (the book of Exodus). There are no empty or weak words in the Hebrew language for "repent", the Messiah's first public word. The Hebrew word for 'repent' also means to 'carry back'. The second we repent His loving arms are right there to pick us up and carry us back on track.

In the Jewish faith, when we ask the LORD to forgive us, it is called "doing te-shoov-ah", literally meaning "to do turning back" before God's face.  Even today, the Hebrew word  for "before" in the modern Hebrew language literally means "to the face of" and is the same word used in the Biblical scriptures. You can't come before God in the Hebrew and not look Him in the eye and He in yours! It would be a contradiction in terms in the Hebrew language. We cannot repent unless we  turn fully around from our sin and look at Him deeply face-to-face. Although that honesty with our Holy Creator initially can be very painful, His face is where you will find the universe's most powerful eyes of Compassion, Consoling and Comfort.  Repent and Turn.

Now, on with the Book Of Jubilees.
This is when Eve comes on the scene. All of the animals were brought to Adam and he gave them their name, and God said to "US" (an Angel is actually narrating this story") "it is not good that the man should be alone, let us make a helpmeet for him." As in the Protestant Bible it says God caused a deep sleep to come upon him and took one of his ribs to make woman and He Built up the flesh and built the woman. I thought that was interesting it was phrased that way. From verse 8 through verse 15 of Chapter 3 it talks about the rules not being able to touch anything sacred or enter the sanctuary during the times of defilement.
For 7 years Adam and "his wife" (another interesting use of words since she was given a name) lived in the Garden Of Eden. This is the first week of the first Jubilee. This time period is called 1-7A.M.
This stands for Anno Mundi. A Latin phrase meaning "in the year of the world. A chronological system used to date events based on the number of years that have passed since the creation of the world."
The Book Of Jubilees actually tells, to the day, when the serpent approached "the woman." On the second month on the seventeenth day. I'll summarize here since it is basically like the Bible, the serpent tempted her, she ate the fruit, and they realized they were naked. Through verse 27 God became angry, cursed the serpent, cursed the ground so now we have to work to provide for ourselves. Verse 28 is where it is different again and gets interesting. It says" on that day all the mouths of the beasts, cattle, birds and whatever walks and moves so that they could no longer speak: for they had all all spoken one with another with one lip and with one tongue." Then all flesh were sent out of the garden. Adam and Even dwelt in the land of Elda. They had no son. The in the 3rd week of the 2nd Jubilee {8A.M.} she gave birth to Cain. In the 4th she gave birth to Abel, in the 5th she gave birth to her daughter Awan. Here's a new development.
Then in the first year of the third Jubilee Cain killed Abel. Verses 4,5, and 6 are similar to the Bible where Cain has to wander the world. Then Adam and his wife mourned for Abel four weeks of years. {99-127A.M.} Then in the 4th year of the 5th week they became joyful again, Adam KNEW HIS WIFE AGAIN, 😳 and she bare him a son and they called him Seth. In the 6th week they had another daughter Azura. Adam and Eve had 9 sons. Seth took Azura his sister to he his wife and they had a son named Enos. To spare you all the lineage, from verse 13-15 it talks about everyone leading up to Enoch being born. This is the time when angels called the watchers admired the women on the earth and came and defiled them.

Next time we'll get into the fall of those angels and Noah being born, but for now

Do Not Add or Take Away From the Word /Mankind Created

Hi everyone. I hope you are warming up, unless you're in the Southern Hemisphere then hopefully you're having a nice summer and weekend swimming. This time I'd like to cover a couple of things before we get back into the Book Of Jubilees

The first things is, the other day I saw a title on the Bible Hidden Truths youtube channel that mentioned words in the Lord's Prayer in the Ethiopian Bible not included in the Western Protestant Bible. I didn't write then down but looked in my Ethiopian Bible and although the wording in the Lord's Prayer is phrased differently than the Protestant Bible those extra sentences weren't there. This is the second video making that claim and each video used different phrases. Now, a lot of the information on the channel does match the Ethiopian Bible, this didn't. What was interesting when I checked, in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13 after it says "but deliver us from evil" it says "[for thine is the kingdom and power and the glory forever, amen."] with those brackets around it. With a footnote saying this was not included in earlier manuscripts. So, we all learned a prayer created by someone who thought Jesus's words needed to be improved upon. This is called a Doxology (a short formula of praise.) The reason it was added was because, they possibly thought the original ended too abruptly. Fortunately the Author wasn't around to ask permission.

Naturally that was one more thing that confused and irritated me because I remembered somewhere the Bible says we are not to add or take away from the word of God. Here are the scriptures that say that: Deuteronomy 4:2"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."

Deuteronomy 12:32 says basically the same thing. but

Revelation 22:18-19 says "I testify to the one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book."

This is the kind of stuff who catch when you're looking for something else. Otherwise you keep going about your day thinking what your learning is legitimate and accurate. That leads me to the 2nd thing, in wanting to be accurate in what I bring to you, I wanted to be sure my excitement in learning about the Ethiopian Bible was legit, so for the past couple of days I've been searching for where to find the most accurate, authentic teachings of the Ethiopian Bible. I found Dr. Vince Bantu. Check out the video

Now onto the Book Of Jubilees. We'll continue on with creation in Chapter 2. On the 2nd day He created the firmament in the midst of the waters and the waters were divided on that day, half of them went up above and half of them went down below the firmament that was in the midst over the face of the whole earth, and this was the only work that God did on the second day. I wrote this whole 2nd day because I thought it was kinda funny that that was all He created on the 2nd day. Maybe he was trying to pace Himself after doing so much on the 1st day lol. On the 3rd day He commanded the waters to pass from off the face of the whole earth and the dry land to appear. On that day He created all the sees, rivers, lakes, all the waters in the mountains and on the earth and all the dew, all the seed, sprouting things, fruit bearing trees, trees of wood and the Garden of Eden. On the 4th day sun, moon and stars to give light on the earth and divided the light from the darkness and to be a great sign for the days, years, jubilees, sabbaths and the seasons. On the 5th day we're used to reading the fish and birds but the Ethiopian Bible says He created Great Sea Monsters and these were the first things of flesh. It goes on then to say He created fish and birds, and everything that flies and everything after their kind. THEN on the 6th day He created all the animals, cattle, and everything that moves on the earth. THEN after this He created Man. A man and woman He created them. The protestant Bible also says MALE and FEMALE He created them. The Ethiopian Bible says He created Mankind, Male and Female. And they are to have dominion over everything.

Another thing that came to mind when I read this, was a conversation I had a very long time ago with my pastor and friend when we were talking about creation one day. He brought up the theory that was, Adam and Eve were the first man and woman created, or did God create MEN AND WOMEN and Adam and Eve just made it into the Bible because they were the ones that got to go to the Garden? I mention that because all that was done in the first week, because it tells us there was a 7th day and that was when God rested. Then in the 2nd week nothing was growing because it hadn't rained and THERE WAS NO MAN TO CULTIVATE THE GROUND. In the Book Of Jubilees it starts out by saying all the animals were brought to Adam for him to give them a name. In the Protestant Bible and Ethiopian Bible It says there was no man man so God created one. My question is, why weren't any of the men created in the first week qualified?

One thought that came to mind was timeframe. Some people theorize that the days were periods of time. In that theory could the men and women have been prehistoric time frame, and Adam was a human man like we imagine him in a later period? Or, was Adam created in a different area, and in that area God will give Adam the garden?

We'll look at that next time. Until then,

Keep searching.

Paul.

I know we haven't talked about Eve or the serpent yet, but here's an Artspace.ai picture of them. I love how Eve used the different color leaves for her outfit lol

Matching Stories in Books Of Jubilees, Enoch and Exodus

 Hi Everyone,

Last night as I started reading The Book Of Jubilees, also called The Little Genesis, I saw a comparison to the Book Of Enoch and wanted to share it with you. In The Book Of Exodus in the Western Bible it mentions Moses being on Mount Sinai for 40 days and 40 nights. I had remembered reading and hearing that but wasn't quite sure, so I looked it up. Exodus 24:18 and 34:28 each mention this. The first time to get The Ten Commandments and the second time to the replacement copy.

In The Book Of Jubilees it says in Chapter 1 that God spake to Moses saying "Come up to Me on the mount and I will give you two tables of stone of the law and of the commandments that I have written, that thou mayest teach them?" vs 1. Both book say Moses was on the mountain in a cloud for 6 days. The western Bible says smoke. Both also say the glory of the Lord appeared like a flaming fire. It goes on to talk about the promises to the people of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and the punishments for disobeying the commandments, festivals and sabbaths. The punishments will be that they will be handed over to their enemies. He also says after that happens they will turn to Me with all their heart and I will build my sanctuary in their midst and I will dwell with them. {paraphrased 10 verses to make the point that shows God will honor His promise}

Towards the end of Chapter 1 God tells the angel of presence to Write for Moses from the beginning of creation til my sanctuary has been built among them for all eternity. I'm not sure what that time frame is, but it makes me think of The Ancient Map Of Heaven video on the Bible Hidden Truths channel on YouTube that talks about angels recording everything that happens on earth in The Akashic Record

Beginning in chapter 2 this angel spoke to Moses and told him to write the complete history of creation, how in 6 days the Lord God finished all His works and all that He created and kept the Sabbathon the seventh day. On the first day He created the heavens which are above and the earth and the waters and all the spirits which serve Him-the angels of presence, the angels of sanctification, the angels of the spirit of fire, the angels of the spirit of the winds, the angels of the spirit of  the clouds, of darkness, and of snow, and of hail, and of frost, and the angels of the voices, and of the thunder and lightning, and of cold and heat, and of winter, spring, summer and autumn, and of ALL THE SPIRITS OF HIS CREATURES WHICH ARE IN THE HEAVENS AND ON THE EARTH. That last line made me have to stop for a moment. It made me think of the verse in Jeremiah 1:5 where it says "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." Chapter 2 continues on in verse to say, He created the abysses, and the darkness, eventide and night, and the light dawn and day, which He hath prepared in the knowledge of His heart.

This section about the angels stuck out to me because that's the part on the Book Of Enoch that's similar. In the Book Of Enoch, although it doesn't mention angels created for each specific season or type of natural occurrence, but it does mention 12 portals through which the winds blow and 4 angels Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Uriel are associated with the 4 directions.

I had to stop after I read this. I knew my brain would be distracted with this, and I wouldn't be comprehending anymore if I tried to keep going. So, if you'll stay tuned, I'll keep reading and bring more in a couple a few days. This is very intriguing to me, I hope it is for you as well.

As always, stay tuned and keep searching,

Paul

Choosing The Light-Finishing the Epistula Apostolorum

 Hi Everyone,

A cold snap has hit Florida. We were outside in 49 degree temperatures getting water pipes ready for the temperatures to get down into the mid 20's tonight, got cold scooping leaves out of the pool so I came in and made hot chocolate with Kahlua. I know that's funny to everybody getting a lot of snow and even colder temperatures. It's even funny to me considering I lived South Dakota over 30 years. It's fun though.

I wanted to share some thoughts with you about the Epistula Apostolorum. One is, a correction in Thursday's post, and the other is, we'll finish the book and I'll start reading the Book Of Jubilees

The correction is, when I mentioned Jesus was in the angelic realm in the 5th Heaven after He was resurrected. It was before He was born. Let's look at that passage....Jesus told them, "The Father gave me the power of greatness and on that day I created archangels with a wonderful voice that they might go into the alter of the Father and serve and complete their service until I go to Him. This is what I did through the wisdom of the likeness. For I was everything in everybody so that I may praise the dispensation of the Father and the glory of the one who sent me, I may complete it and go to Him. For all of you know that Gabriel the angel brought the good news to Mary?" They replied "Yes." Then He said "On that day when I assumed the form of Gabriel the angel, appeared to Mary and spoke with her, her heart received Me to her, she believed. I gave myself form. I went into her. I became flesh. Since I became for myself alone a deacon to Mary in the perceived form of an angel, this is how I will do it after going to the Father, and you, remember my death." He is saying this is how you will remember seeing me when I ascend.

When I read that I thought how crazy that was. I'm sure a lot if not most or all of us wondered how Mary became pregnant when the Holy Spirit "Came Upon" her. There was another conversation about someone going to prison and missing The Passover Feast but it doesn't say who, Then the Apostles ask "Lord, in what sort of great power will you come, or what sort of perceptible state?" He said, {and I found this very cool} "Amen, I say to you that I will come like the shining sun, I being light of seven times greater than it (the sun) in My glory. The wings of clouds carrying Me in glory and the sign of the cross before Me, I will come upon the earth and give justice to the living and the dead." They asked Him what did He by "I am coming and the one who sent me is the one who is coming?" A few pages later He gets angry and I can see why. They spent 3 years with Him and they appear to still not get it. But He said, "I am entirely in my Father and My Father is in Me. From the likeness of the form and the power and the fullness and the light and the perfect measure and the voice. I am the Logos, {the Word.}"

The Ethiopian Bible and the Western Holy Bible both say in 1 John 1:5 "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. Verse 6 says, If we say we have fellowship with him and yet keep walking in darkness, we are lying and not practicing the truth. (We'll be getting back to verse 6 soon.) The Ethiopian Sunday School Department emphasizes this verse saying "God is not just a light source but is light in His very innermost being- He is pure holiness with absolutely no sin or darkness. And Remember You are created in God's Image.

In the next few paragraphs the Apostles ask more questions about being risen he goes on to talk about at the day of judgement "the body, soul and spirit will rise so that on that day their defense will happen because of what they have done, good or bad. so the selection of the faithful will be made." This is important in the sense that later like in 1 John 1:6 He says "If one believes in Me and does not keep my commandments, having confessed my name, has no benefit from it, he has gone on an empty path." It makes me think about all the televangelists who start out supposedly on the faithful path but money and power start having a bigger influence over them and they get busted for falling into some type of temptation, or even those who say, "I am saved I can do what I want." I feel like this is a really good argument for that comment.

They asked Him, "How will judgement be made? The just or the unjust? When they say to you, You have not pursued justice, light and dark, good and bad, What will you say?" He said "I will answer, Adam was given the power to choose one of two things. He chose light. He brought his hand down upon it. The dark, however, he left it behind him and cast it from him. In this way EVERY MAN has the power to believe in the light, which is the life, which is the Father who sent me. Everyone who believes and performs the things of the light they will live through them. But is one confesses that one belongs to the light, doing the things of the dark this one will have no defense.

As I've said, maybe here, for sure on Facebook, 1/3 of the world's population is evangelical christian. According to them 2/3 of the world's population is going to hell, and I'm not buying that theory. This tells me you don't have to be in the mainstream christian churches to fulfill Jesus's requirements. They go on to talk about the 5 wise and 5 foolish virgins waiting for the bridegroom in Matthew 25:1-13. Jesus says "the 5 wise ones are faith, love, charity, peace and hope." Those among believers are the ones who will be leaders of those who have believed in Me and sent Me." The 5 foolish ones are knowledge, understanding, obedience, patience, and mercy. These are the ones who have fallen asleep among those who believed and confessed me, but did not keep my commandments through those who fell asleep. They will remain outside the kingdom and sheepfold.

There are a group of monks in the United States that are "Walking for Peace" from Texas to Washington DC. When I read this I thought about them and how they are showing the world all 5 attributes of the 5 wise virgins. There have been people who have supposedly been Christians that have been picketing along the monks route with signs saying "Jesus is the only way." When I think about this I think about the arrogance and how in Romans 14:13 it talks about not putting a stumbling block in the way of a brother. I'm sure the protesters wouldn't consider the monks brother, but Jesus says every man is our brother. One of the 5 attributes of the 5 wise virgins is love. To me picketing the monks route doesn't show them love. It shows foolish arrogance and turns people away from Christianity.

In a couple of days we'll get into The Book Of Jubilees. Until then Choose the path of the Light and

Keep Searching,

Paul

Heavenly Jesus

 Hi Everyone,

With my interest in and searching the Ethiopian Bible, I found out there is a book called Mashafa Kidan. It's also called the Book Of Covenant. It can also be broken up into two separate books, 1 Covenant and 2 Covenant. It can also be called The Testament Of Jesus Christ or Epistula Apostolorum

I'll explain why I bring it up but first let's look at Acts Chapter 1. Acts 1 says Jesus appeared to the apostles "by many convincing proofs over a period of 40 days." He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised. He told them they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. He said they would be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea and the remotest parts of the earth. Then The Bible says "after He said these things He was lifted up while they were watching and a cloud took Him out of their sight."

Like other books that have been found, like books in the Nag Hammadi, parts of the books are missing, so when we read it the translators put brackets where the missing parts are, and we just have figure out what was said, or just move on without knowing that part. The Epistula Apostolorum tells us what or at least some of the things that happened during those 40 days. In this book chapters 1-8 are missing. It starts in chapter 9 saying Cerinthos and Simon were in the world and they were told these are enemies of the Lord. It sounds like the Apostles talking because it says, we have not delayed in writing to you about the witness of Our Savior Christ who was crucified by Pontius Pilate. It describes how Mary, Martha and Mary Magdalene went to the tomb of Jesus with oils for His body and found the tomb empty. As they were grieving and weeping the Lord said to them "For whom are you weeping? Stop weeping. For I am the one you are looking for." When I read that I imagined Him saying it like we would today, like Oh My Gosh... Stop weeping. {heavy sigh}.

Twice He told Martha then Mary to go tell the Apostles to come with them, Jesus is alive. They didn't believe them so they all went. When they got there and still didn't believe Jesus told them about Peter denying Him, then He finally had to let them touch His wounds. When they were finally convinced, they fell down on their faces and confessed their sins. Now starts what was omitted from the book of Acts.

Jesus told them "It happened when I came coming from The Father of everything. I passed into the heavens. I assumed the wisdom of the Father and I assumed His power. I was in heaven, and the archangels and angels, I passed into their likeness as if I were one with them among the powers and authorities. I passed by them having the wisdom of the one who sent me. The archistrategos of the angels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael, they are the ones who followed me as far as the Fifth Firmament. For they thought in their hearts that I was one of them. When I read that about the Fifth Firmament it reminded me about a video I listened to on the Bible Hidden Truths youtube channel called The Ancient Map Of Heaven. Let's stop there with the book and pick it up next time so I can tell you about the Fifth Section of Heaven.

According to the video, the Fifth Heaven is where the Ethiopian tradition describes it where the Angelic Hosts are on watch. It holds the Angelic Warriors. The beings do not govern cycles or record deeds, they stand prepared. Ancient writings describe them as tall, radiant and burning with a fire that does not consume. Their presence is not chaotic or violent. It is disciplined and purposeful. They stand watch. Their songs are songs of power, not gentle hymns. Theirs are voices that shake shake the foundations of the heavens, not in destruction, but in reinforcement. This heaven carries and important correction to modern assumptions. Heaven is not constant perfection, it is active and guarded. Ethiopian tradition says evil does not fade away, so so vigilance is always necessary and eternal. For human beings this realm carries a quiet warning and deep reassurance. The world may appear to be fragile but it is not unprotected. Forces  beyond human sight stand watch, not because humanity deserves it but because divine order demands it. The Fifth Heaven reminds us that strength and holiness are not opposites.

When I think about this and Jesus appearing to to His followers for those 40 days, it makes me think about the spiritual places that we can't see with our human eyes. I've said God is not a man in the clouds with a white beard in pictures like we see. But if Jesus can come to earth, be born as a human, die, go to heaven, look like angels and walk with them, then come back to earth, appear to be human without being born of a woman, talk to and teach His disciples, then return to heaven, the things we can't comprehend in the spiritual world are much too numerous to count. Don't discount anything!!

We'll continue with the book Mashafa Kidan next time and possibly get through it, unless I find another reason to take a side trip  😊😊

Until then Keep Searching.
